The GB team has started training in Avis

It’s with immense pride and pleasure that Avizacqua welcomes the most successful rowing team in the world. The GB squad arrived last Monday for a two week camp. The team was welcomed by glass like water conditions, sunshine and mild temperatures and couldn’t wait to get their boats on the water!
Their arrival was preceded by their huge logistical apparatus and the Team GB nutritionist, that is supervising the menus prepared by Avizacqua for the GB athletes. We are very proud to say that the food we prepared has been very well received, and the coaches are appreciating the very good Portuguese wines that the Hotel has on offer.
